SAGE Scholars Creates Sage Secure, ‘First Fee-Free Accidental Death Benefit to 443 College Members | State

PHILADELPHIA CREAM, December 8, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The SAGE Scholars Educational Foundation has created the first free accidental death benefit for the families of students enrolled in one of 443 SAGE Scholars member colleges and universities nationwide.

Called SAGE Secure, it is designed to help prevent a student from suffering financially and possibly dropping out of school if their family’s primary earner dies from an accidental bodily injury.

“We recognize the devastating impact of the sudden death of a parent of a student or the primary source of support on the financial health of the family and in particular on the continued ability to pay and attend university,” said dr.
